About
I’ve spent my career around software and infrastructure that other systems rely on — storage, cloud platforms, and the seams between them.
Where I’ve worked
- Microsoft — Azure architect, Microsoft Marketplace, and helping teams ship and supporting peers across a wide org.
- Dell EMC / EMC — distributed storage and rack-scale systems, including work on VxRack Neutrino, Elastic Cloud Storage, and ScaleIO. Most of it was managing across geo-distributed teams.
- Consulting — building enterprise custom solutions for a myriad of businesses.
What I’ve worked on
- Cloud and infrastructure — Microsoft Azure, OpenStack, Cloud Foundry, and the operational glue that keeps multi-tenant platforms healthy.
- Microservices and DevOps — containerized services, CI/CD pipelines, REST fault-injection tooling. Less about the buzzword, more about what breaks at 3am.
- Product — Pragmatic Certified Product Manager. I like the part of the job that asks should we build this before how do we build it.
A few other things
- I’m a problem-solver by reflex — the kind of person colleagues ping when something is weird and nobody else has time.
- I care about systems that hold up under real load, teams that can ship without heroics, and documentation that someone six months from now will actually read.
